Our commitment
Sable Gold is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, regardless of ability or the technology used to access it. I want everyone who visits this site to have a comfortable and dignified experience. This statement applies to the website operated under the Sable Gold brand.
What I am doing
I am working to ensure this website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard recommended by the UK government. This includes making the site:
Perceivable - content is presented in ways that can be seen, heard, or otherwise interpreted
Operable - all functionality is accessible via keyboard as well as mouse or touch
Understandable - content and navigation are clear and consistent
Robust - content can be reliably interpreted by a range of assistive technologies
Current accessibility features
This website has been built with the following considerations in mind:
Clear colour contrast between text and background throughout
Font sizes set in fixed units to ensure consistent rendering across devices
Text that does not resize automatically in ways that reduce readability
A responsive layout that functions across a range of screen sizes including mobile
Interactive elements including accordions that are keyboard operable
The language of the page declared in the HTML to support screen readers
Known limitations
This website is in active development. I am aware of the following areas still being improved:
Some images may not yet have descriptive alternative text
The gallery sections are being reviewed for screen reader compatibility
Custom embedded code sections including the rates accordion are being tested against assistive technologies
I am committed to addressing these areas as the site develops.
